PURCHASING A HOME IN RIVERVIEW FLORIDA?
Purchasing a new home in Riverview Florida? Call Rich Kemper at 813-777-5332. This is the second blog on the topic of buying a new or existing home and the benefits of each. We are still talking about new construction builder homes right now. We left off with this question. What should you be looking for in a new construction neighborhood? In real estate you always here location, location, location. What does this mean? It means several things. I would start off with what location means to you, the buyer. Why are you looking at a particular location? Is it close to where you work? Is it close to major expressways making it easy for you to get to work and other places? Are you looking for “A” rated schools for your children? Do some of your friends or family members live in a particular neighborhood and you want to live in the same neighborhood? Are you looking for amenities such as a community pool, tennis or basketball courts, a gated community for added safety and privacy benefits, a dock and a boat lift because you enjoy fishing, schools inside the neighborhood so your children can walk to school, or perhaps a strong HOA so you don’t get stuck living next to a person that seems to always have a car up on blocks in the driveway? There are other amenities  and things to consider, but I think you get the idea. There are other things to consider when you look at location.
One of the things I look at when I am working with new construction buyers is easy access to the neighborhood. For instance, my neighborhood has two ways to get in and out. I prefer to go out the same way every time, but I come in the other entrance every time. I go out the entrance where I only have to worry about the traffic coming both ways where as the other entrance has the same traffic coming both ways, but also has another gated community across the street with people turning left and right out of their neighborhood making the chances go up for a possible accident. There are some communities on 301 in Riverview where when you come out you have to turn right even if you want to turn left. I don’t know if that would be frustrating to you, but I don’t think I would want to deal with that on a daily basis, multiple times a day. We will continue on with the topic of location in my next blog.
